1961
Osaka Goseihin Co., Ltd. founded in Hiranomachi, Higashi-ku, Osaka (capitalized at 12 million yen).
Started trading textile products, fabrics, yarns and chemicals.
1964
Okayama Plant is established, and production of poval sheet equipment is transferred from Kuraray and begins at the end of the same year.
1973
Increased capital to 100 million yen.
1979
Joined the Kuraray Group through a majority investment by Kuraray Co., Ltd.
1983
The trade name is changed to the current Kuraray Trading Co., Ltd.
1988
Opened Hong Kong Branch in Hong Kong.
1989
Established Taipei Branch in Taiwan.
1991
Increased capital to 500 million yen.
1995
Shanghai office opened in China.
1998
Established Hanoi office in Vietnam.
2000
Became a wholly owned consolidated subsidiary of Kuraray Co.
2001
Increased capital to 1.5 billion yen.
2003
Shanghai office was incorporated as a local subsidiary, and Kuraray Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.
2004
Increased capital to the current 2.2 billion yen.
2005
Opened Seoul Branch in Korea.
2010
Moved Osaka Head Office to the current location of Osaka Umeda Twin Towers North, Kakudacho, Kita-ku, Osaka City.
2013
Established local subsidiary Kuraray Trading Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Established the company.
2021
Okayama (Tomiyoshi) Plant is established.
Tokyo office relocated to Tokiwanbashi Tower in Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.
2022
Opened Shenzhen Branch of Kuraray Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.
