Elastomer, Synthetic rubber, Resin
High-performance elastomers can provide rubber-like elasticity, damping performance, and flexibility over a wide temperature range, and are used in compounding materials, resin modification, adhesives, and other applications that take advantage of these characteristics. Liquid rubber is also used as a functional additive for synthetic rubber.

In the chemicals field, we handle specialty and fine chemical products used primarily as solvents and raw materials for resins, which are used in a wide range of applications.
Main Products
SEPTON™ / HYBRAR™
SEPTON™ has excellent heat and weather resistance and is used as a compound material for automotive parts, while HYBRAR™ has excellent vibration damping and PP compatibility and is used in films and tubes for medical applications.
KURARAY LIQUID RUBBER
It is used as a plasticizer in the rubber kneading process, mainly for tires. Cross-linking with solid rubber has the advantage of inhibiting bleed-out.
ISOBAM™
Metalworking oils used as forging lubricants and quenching agents, as well as adhesives, glass fibers, and binders for ceramic powders, taking advantage of their excellent water resistance and viscosity.
KURARITY™
It has excellent transparency, weather resistance, adhesiveness, and compatibility with polar materials, and is used in adhesives, sealants, light-guiding materials, and resin modification.
MMB
With its unique volatility characteristics and stability, it is used in a wide range of applications such as air fresheners, household detergents, paints and inks, and printing commercial materials that are all around us. It is low-odor, low-toxicity, and biodegradable, making it friendly to workers and the environment.
IPD
It is a cosmetic raw material with well-balanced functions such as moisturizing, antiseptic, and solubilizing. It is used in a variety of cosmetics and toiletries, including hair care shampoos, conditioners, and face masks.
MPD /Polyol
It is used as a raw material for polyurethane resins used in synthetic leather and other products. We sell MPD, Kuraray's proprietary product, and polyols based on it.
