CLARINO™

The world's first man-made leather, the core of CLARINO business.
General Name
Man-made leather

CLARINO™ is a man-made leather that Kuraray Co., Ltd. pioneered in 1964. Kuraray Trading Co., Ltd. handles the marketing and sales of the product.

It is based on a nonwoven fabric that chemically reproduces the fine structure of natural leather and is made by intertwining special synthetic fibers in three dimensions.
The cavity structure and ultra-fine fiber structure of the special fibers that make up this nonwoven fabric create the softness and suppleness unique to CLARINO™.
