Banshu‑ori Double‑faced stole

Functional scarves produced in the Banshu-ori production area in the Kita-Harima region of Hyogo Prefecture, which features yarn-dyed fabrics woven with yarn dyed in advance.

Yarn-dyed fabrics can be dyed by shading the yarn itself in various colors, allowing for the beautiful expression of detailed color patterns. The use of fine yarns also provides softness and texture against the skin.

We then used our functional yarn to add heat shielding and ultraviolet shielding effects.

The air permeability of cotton makes it light and comfortable to use, and the shirring process reduces the appearance of wrinkles, and the small surface area on the skin makes it less likely to feel sticky from perspiration.

The large size with buttons allows it to be used in a poncho-style, wrapped around the neck, or in other arrangements to suit various occasions.

When not in use, the item can be stored in the pocket in the center for compactness and portability.
