A type of plastic optical fiber developed in the 1980s as a material for radiation detection using a process unique in the world.
Subsequently, as a result of our efforts to improve the quality of our materials through steady supply to numerous research institutes and the accumulation of technology, we became the de facto standard for radiation detection materials, which were used to study neutrinos and quarks, and contributed to the discovery of the Higgs boson particle. In addition to scintillation fiber, we also have a lineup of commercial products related to radiation detection, such as wavelength conversion fiber and clear fiber.
In addition, product specifications, such as wire diameter, can be selected to meet customers' needs in detail.
