KURALON K-II™ is a water-soluble PVA-based fiber developed by Kuraray using an innovative spinning method called "solvent wet-cooled gel spinning.
Organic solvents are used instead of water in both the solvent and solidification baths, resulting in fibers that are soluble in water at low temperatures.

It is used in water-soluble non-woven fabrics for embroidery processes and as an auxiliary material for spinning natural fibers.

Features

There are different types of fibers that dissolve at various temperatures, from low temperatures to boiling water, for each intended use.
It also has excellent strength and stability to humidity, and improves processability for spun yarns and non-woven fabrics.
