MOWITAL™

Polyvinyl butyral resin, one of Kuraray Co., Ltd.'s mainstay products, is made primarily from polyvinyl alcohol (Poval).
It has excellent adhesion to many base materials such as glass and metals, excellent dispersibility of various organic and inorganic materials, and extremely high transparency.
Due to these characteristics, it is widely used in applications such as interlayers for safety glass, binders for ceramics such as laminated ceramic capacitors and alumina chip resistors, and binders and dispersants for paints and inks.
MOWITAL™ is produced at Kuraray Europe GmbH (Germany). We can provide the product in the form of powder, film, etc., depending on the method of use.
