Urethane Foam Cleaning Agent

Urethane foam cleaner

A cleaning agent for dissolving and removing urethane foam (polyurethane foam).
It is characterized by excellent dissolving power.

Features

This cleaning agent does not contain halogenated solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons, or ethylene glycol ethers.

Excellent dissolving power

Immediate effectivity

It demonstrates excellent dissolving power for urethane foam in the process from foaming to curing.

Slow-acting

It has liquid permeability to urethane foam that has hardened after foaming, and facilitates removal work from foam swelling.

Adaptability

Foam is removed by a wide range of uses, from nozzle immersion cleaning to kettle pool washing and extrusion cleaning with a discharge machine.

Test Contents

After mixing and stirring the P and R liquids into the urethane foam in the process of curing from foaming, the washing solution is dropped at regular intervals of 30, 60, and 90 seconds to qualitatively evaluate how the foam dissolves.

Discussion and Conclusion

  • Although methylene chloride was slightly better than S730 in terms of solubility in urethane foam prior to the start of foaming, there was no significant difference in solubility, and it can be judged that the product can be used sufficiently.
  • After foaming, dissolution of urethane foam becomes more difficult over time, but the performance difference between S730 and methylene chloride in foam with advanced foaming was almost same or S730 is slightly higher than methylene chloride.
